Container Gantry Crane
Container gantry crane refers to the special gantry crane in container terminals, railway freight stations, and yards. According to its different characteristics, it is divided into rubber-tyred container gantry crane and rail-mounted gantry crane.
Rubber-Tyred Container Gantry Crane (RTG) is a special machine for large specialized container yards to load and unload standard containers. It applies not only to the yards of container terminals, but also to dedicated yards for containers.
Rubber-tyred container gantry crane is a special machine for stacking container goods. It is composed of door bracket, power transmission system, lifting mechanism, large car running mechanism, trolley running mechanism and telescopic spreader. The walking trolley equipped with container spreader walks along the main beam track for container loading and unloading and stacking operations, and the tire walking mechanism can make the crane walk on the freight yard, and can be turned at a right angle of 90° from one freight yard to another, and the operation is flexible
The trolley running machine can be driven by rack or pinion or double shaft and single shaft, and it runs smoothly. There is a cab under the trolley frame, in which the driver controls the entire crane to run.
The rubber-tyred container gantry crane adopts AC or DC speed regulation system, which has good speed regulation and constant power control, and can automatically adjust the lifting speed according to the weight of the box.
Rail-mounted container gantry crane (RMG) is mainly used for container handling, handling and stacking in container railway transfer yards and large container storage and transportation yards.
Rail-mounted container gantry crane is composed of main beam, rigid and flexible door leg, running trolley, lifting mechanism, large car running mechanism, electrical system, operation cab, etc. According to the yard operation process, the cantilever that extends out in the direction of single door leg or double door leg becomes a single cantilever or double cantilever model, and does not extend out to become a non-cantilever model. According to the site, container storage and transportation process and loading and unloading vehicles (container trucks or railway vehicles), different structural forms without cantilevers, single cantilever and double cantilever are determined.
